Noida International Airport (DXN) is a new airport in Uttar Pradesh, built and run by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL). For now it handles domestic flights only.
It is a separate airport from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and from Hindon Airport (HDO) at Ghaziabad, so check which airport your ticket names. The direct domestic flights recorded from Noida are with IndiGo and Akasa Air, to the destinations in the table further down this page.
Noida International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Hindon Airport at Ghaziabad are different airports, and each has its own page and its own route pages on this site. Read the airport name and code on your ticket before you set off.
The airport's own travel advice names taxis, app-based cabs, government buses and private vehicles. The airport lists taxis as available 24/7, with night service subject to government rules and the airport's operating hours.
Electric airport taxis wait at the arrival kerb at fixed fares to major destinations, with no surge pricing. Ask about tolls when you book, as toll charges can differ from one provider to another.
Ola, Uber, Rapido and MakeMyTrip cabs use pick-up and drop-off zones in the airport parking area. Chauffeur-driven cars can be hired through the MannFleet app, from zones at the airport.
The Noida Airport Bus Stop is a separate stop from the terminal building, and a free shuttle runs between the two. Two-wheelers are restricted beyond the airport bus stop.
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) runs an air-conditioned Atal Seva electric bus between the Noida Airport Bus Stop and Noida City Centre Metro Station, with Botanical Garden also listed on its schedule. You do not book ahead: you board and pay the conductor.
The airport publishes the bus schedule (the copy online is marked as updated on 1 September 2026), so check the current one before you travel.
A pre-booked city shuttle run through the MannFleet app links the airport with Botanical Garden in Noida and with the Jewar area. Seats are limited, so book ahead in the app, and board at the arrival kerb.
State bus corporations and private operators run buses between the airport and other cities. The airport's public transport page lists:
Confirm the bus you want with its operator before you rely on it.
The open-air car park takes private and commercial vehicles. You pay at counters or digital kiosks, and the charge depends on how long you stay.
The airport advises arriving two to three hours before a domestic flight. Self bag drop is available, and baggage allowances are set by your airline, so check them with the airline before you pack.
The airport describes DigiYatra as a paperless, face-recognition process: at the terminal you use the Digi Yatra entry lane, and at the boarding gate you look into the camera. You register in the Digi Yatra app with an Aadhaar-linked mobile number and a selfie, complete the identity verification, and link your boarding pass for the flight.
The airport says DigiYatra data is encrypted and deleted within 24 hours of your flight, and that you should keep your documents with you in case the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) asks for them.
The airport's DigiYatra page describes the steps.
The CISF publishes the list of photo identity documents accepted at terminal entry, carried in original with a valid ticket. A passport, Aadhaar or m-Aadhaar, a voter photo identity card and a driving licence are among them.
The CISF list says an infant or minor travelling with a parent or guardian who holds valid identity proof does not need a separate document, but an unaccompanied minor does. Airlines may ask for more, and foreign nationals should ask their airline which document it accepts for a domestic flight.
In cabin baggage, liquids, aerosols and gels go in containers of up to 100 ml each, packed in one clear, resealable one-litre plastic bag. Medicine or an inhaler accompanied by a prescription, and baby food, are exceptions on the CISF list, and the airport asks you to declare baby food, medicines and special dietary items over 100 ml.
The airport's packing guidelines keep sharp objects, lighters, matches, flammable liquids, firearms and replicas, explosives, power tools and toxic or corrosive materials out of hand baggage.
Airlines are advised, under an advisory circular of 11 November 2025 from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), to tell passengers to carry power banks and spare batteries in hand baggage only, not to put them in the overhead bin, and not to use or charge them in flight. Ask your airline about any further limit it sets.
The lounge is on Level 0, after security and near the boarding area. Entry is through airline memberships, partner programmes or pay-per-use, and it serves light meals and drinks, with Wi-Fi and charging points.
Food and drink outlets are spread across the domestic check-in hall, the domestic departure pier, the common arrival hall and the forecourt. They include Bite & Board, Chai Point, Costa, Flying Bites, KFC, Nourish, Smoor, Subway and UFM, and opening hours vary by outlet.
Some outlets have vegetarian options, and you can eat in or take away. Pre-ordering is not available at present, and the airport says no alcohol is being served.
The airport says porter service and left-luggage storage are not running at present, so plan to manage your own bags and to take them with you.
If you have booked wheelchair help through your airline, you can wait at a dedicated waiting space near the drop-off point, and a paid wheelchair service is available at the counter if you have not booked. The airport lists wide ramps, tactile flooring, lifts, accessible seats and restrooms.

The DGCA sets out what airlines offer when a flight is delayed or cancelled, or a passenger is denied boarding, in its Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section 3, Series M, Part IV, Revision 4, dated 25 January 2023 and effective from 15 February 2023. If you checked in on time, the airline provides meals and refreshments once a delay is expected to reach a set length.
The set length is two hours or more on a flight with a block time of up to 2.5 hours, three hours or more on a flight of more than 2.5 and up to 5 hours, and four hours or more on a longer flight. The CAR says an airline is not obliged to provide these facilities where the delay is caused by extraordinary circumstances that could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.
When a flight is cancelled, the airline arranges an alternate flight or a refund, and a passenger who was not told in time is offered either an alternate flight, or compensation under the DGCA's rules on top of a full refund. Compensation is not due to a passenger who gave the airline no email address or phone number at booking.
The CAR does not require compensation for cancellations and delays clearly attributable to air traffic control, weather or security risks, or caused by other circumstances beyond the airline's control. You can complain to the airline directly, file a grievance on the Air Sewa app or portal, or go to a statutory body or court. Check dgca.gov.in for a later revision before you rely on these rules.
YIAPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, was set up to develop, build and run the airport as a greenfield project. It works with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India as a public-private partnership, under a 40-year concession that began on 1 October 2021.
All India Radio reported on 10 October 2026 that the Uttar Pradesh cabinet had approved a proposal to rename the airport Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar. As of 15 October 2026 the operator still calls it Noida International Airport.
