Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) is the airport for Udaipur in Rajasthan, at Dabok, and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) runs it. Check AAI's page for the airport before you fly, as the facilities below may change with the new terminal described further down.
The direct domestic flights recorded from Udaipur are with IndiGo, Air India and Akasa Air, to the destinations in the table further down this page.
The airport has a pre-paid taxi counter, a car rental counter and an Uber kiosk on the city side of the arrival area. Inter-state taxi and car services are also available.
A city bus service is available outside the airport.
The car park takes coaches, buses and trucks, tempos, SUVs and minibuses, cars and two-wheelers. The charge depends on the vehicle and the length of stay, and an hourly charge is added once you pass the first two hours.
Check-in counters and self check-in kiosks are in the departure area; ask your airline which counter it uses. The kiosks let you choose a seat and print a boarding pass. AAI's guidance for Udaipur is to arrive 90 minutes before a domestic departure, but your airline's own check-in deadline is the one that applies.
Food and drink at the airport includes a restaurant, a snack bar or food court, an ice cream, bakery and confectionery shop, and hot and cold drinks.
A children's play area, a chess area, seats with charging ports, drinking water and trolleys are free to use. Child care rooms are free too. The airport also has a workstation area and a smoking lounge.
Retiring rooms for transit passengers are in the terminal building. You book them through AAI by phone or email, using the contact details on AAI's Udaipur conveniences page.
The airport has Wi-Fi, but to log in you need a valid mobile number, Indian or international, with a working cellular connection.
Medical help and first aid are available in the terminal building. For a wheelchair, ask your airline when you book or at its counter at the airport. Lost property goes to the Airport Terminal Manager's office, and missing baggage is reported to your airline.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) publishes the list of photo identity documents accepted at entry to the terminal building, carried in original with a valid ticket. A passport, Aadhaar or m-Aadhaar, a voter photo identity card and a driving licence are among them.
The CISF list says an infant or minor travelling with a parent or guardian who holds valid identity proof does not need a separate document, but an unaccompanied minor does. Airlines may ask for more than the CISF list. Foreign nationals should check with their airline which document it accepts for a domestic flight.
The CISF's restricted-articles list allows liquids, aerosols and gels in cabin baggage in containers of up to 100 ml each, packed in one clear, resealable one-litre plastic bag. Medicine or an inhaler accompanied by a prescription, and baby food, are exceptions. Lighters, metal scissors with pointed tips, sharp objects, sporting goods and firearms are among the items barred from cabin baggage.
If you carry medicines on board, keep the doctor's prescription with them and check with your airline.
A Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) circular dated 11 November 2025 says power banks and spare batteries are to be carried in hand baggage only and not placed in overhead bins, and that power banks may not be used or charged during the flight. Ask your airline about any limit on their size or number.
AAI has tendered the construction of a new integrated passenger terminal building at Udaipur, together with an extension of the existing apron. Swarajya reported on 30 March 2026 that the Civil Aviation Minister told the Rajya Sabha the terminal was under construction and nearing completion, and would be inaugurated within the year.
Places visitors come to Udaipur for include Pichola Lake, the City Palace, Fateh Sagar, Jagmandir, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Sajjangarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, Ranakpur and Mount Abu.

The DGCA sets out what airlines offer when a flight is delayed or cancelled, or a passenger is denied boarding, in its Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section 3, Series M, Part IV, Revision 4, dated 25 January 2023 and effective from 15 February 2023. If you checked in on time, the airline provides meals and refreshments once a delay is expected to reach two hours or more on a flight with a block time of up to 2.5 hours, three hours or more on a flight of more than 2.5 and up to five hours, and four hours or more on a longer flight. The CAR does not require meals, refreshments or hotel accommodation where the delay is caused by extraordinary circumstances that could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.
If a domestic flight is expected to be delayed by more than six hours from its published departure time, or from a revised time communicated more than 24 hours before the original departure, the airline offers either an alternate flight within six hours or a full refund. For a total delay of more than 24 hours, or more than six hours on a flight scheduled between 2000 and 0300 hours, the CAR also requires hotel accommodation when necessary, with transfers.
When a flight is cancelled, the airline arranges an alternate flight or a refund, and a passenger who was not told in time is offered either an alternate flight, or compensation under the DGCA's rules on top of a full refund. Compensation is not due to a passenger who gave the airline no email address or phone number at booking. The CAR does not require compensation for a cancellation caused by extraordinary circumstances, and it says an airline need not pay compensation for cancellations and delays clearly attributable to air traffic control, weather or security risks.
You can complain to the airline directly, file a grievance on the Air Sewa app or portal, or go to a statutory body or court. Check dgca.gov.in for a later revision and your airline's current rules before you rely on this.
The airport has a pre-paid taxi counter, a car rental counter and an Uber kiosk on the city side of the arrival area. A city bus service is available outside the airport.
AAI's guidance for Udaipur is 90 minutes before a domestic departure. Your airline's own check-in deadline is the one that applies, so check it when you book.
